Dr. Andrew G. Hune was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Honors Genetics from the University of Western Ontario, Dr. Hune earned his medical degree from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, Illinois.
Upon completion of a three-year Podiatric Surgical Residency at Benedictine and Kingston hospitals, Dr. Hune practiced podiatry for several years in Washington State before returning to HVFA in 2015. He is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is board-qualified in forefoot and rearfoot ankle surgery.
